A KNIGHTS TALE(2022)

RUNNER/PLATFORMER
This was the first project I when I transferred into the major of Game Design at UCI. It taught me the basics of Unity and working in a team environment. In a team of 4 people, the end goal of the project was to deliver something within scope, yet still have the replay ability that you would find in platformers. I was the programmer for the player movement and attaching the movement and attacking animations to the mobs that would spawn in the game.

HOP N' CROP(2022)

FARMING SIM
This was the second team project I made I transferred into the major of Game Design at UCI. It refreshed me on the fundamental design practices of Unity including adding AI, spawn able objects to a game scene, and adding creating a server for local and online multiplayer. I was responsible for the SFX when the player opens the chests and also created a chest inventory mechanic for storing all the crops the player has picked up.

ACADEMIC ALTERCATION(2023)

FIGHTING GAME
This was the third team project I made I transferred into the major of Game Design at UCI. Academic Altercation is a 2D pixel fighting game of 1-2 players. The concept was to create something that represents a small representative audience, and in our case the UCI campus. This game is based on 2 GDIM professors, Professor Toby Do and Tyler Cushing who will battle it out in order to win in favor of their students. I was mainly responsible for creating the art for cgaand UI Design for the drafting system and player abilities within the game.

TEA, TIME, & TESTIMONY (2023)

2D Mystery RPG
A 2.5 Mystery RPG developed for UCI's VGDC (Video Game Development Club). Players will play as a private detective gather clues around the town of Edelweiss in order to solve the mystery haunting the townspeople. Players will have to solve the mystery before election day. I worked as the assistant-writer creating the character cards on this project and it taught be the basics of world building and character design.
