CYBERPUNK VISUAL-NOVEL

Choice Dialogue

  •  I wanted branching choices to be heavily present in this game so I designed it so that each choice in Rebel Heart will have a direct impact on character stats: INT, STR, ChaRIZ

  • Story Routes can change depending on how much INT, STR, ChaRIhas fufilled

  • Inspired by: Persona 5, Life is Strange 

Quick Time Events (QTE)

  • I created Quick Time Events to increase the intensity of scene and interactivity the player has in the game      

  •  I created a script for a QTE window to display pop-up icons and timed keyboard presses

  • Inspired by: Telltale Walking  Dead, Wolf Among Us

Interactive Cutscenes

  • I wanted to reduce the disconnect from the passive storytelling   present in Visual Novels  

  •  My main goal is to increase player immersion

  • I use keyframe animations to develop scenes in to develop most of the interactive scenes shown in game

  • Inspired by: Life is Strange, Wolf Among Us, Telltale Walking  Dead
